Mission: Assistance league of albuquerque, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, improves lives through philanthropic programs that fulfill basic needs and enhance the quality of lives in the albuquerque metropolitan area.

Programs: Operation school bell provides clothing and shoes to elementary and middle school students.

the kids are pretty special (k. A. P. S) program provides clothing and hygiene kits through children, youth and family department for children identified as being at risk.

the sharing program distributes gently used items from assistance league's thrift store to appropriate non-profit organizations.

blue portal: provides an outlet for senior crafters to sell their crafts in a retail environment. 100% of entire purchase price is returned to the senior crafters. Buddy bears: teddy bears are provided to police and fire departments for use in traumatic situations involving children. Assault survivor kits (a. S. K. ): provides clothing, snacks and community kits for assault victims. Tender loving care (t. L. C. ): provides new handmade layettes and knitted chemo caps to university of new mexico hospital.
