Mission: ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Conejo Valley (ALCV), is a nonprofit service organization comprised of volunteers who identify, develop, implement, and fund ongoing philanthropic programs to improve the lives of children and adults in our community.

Results: Results: Provided $280,000 of program services to the underserved of the Conejo Valley in the fiscal year ending May 31,2019.Provided new school clothing and shoes for 2,648 elementary, middle, and high school children. Distributed 3,456 teddy bears to hospitals, Urgent Care Centers, our local Assault Survivor Center, foster kids in crisis, and local fire and sheriff stations. Distributed emergency clothing kits to 34 elementary schools. Entertained 1000 seniors at local senior facilities. Tutored 65 students in reading during weekly sessions at one local elementary school. Educated 550 third graders about how to deal with potentially dangerous situations through our I'm in Charge program. Donated more than 2,000 books to 955 elementary school students to have in their home to promote literacy. Provided 161 students with an eye exam and eyeglasses through our Vision for the Future program. Provided 30 adults with an eye exam and eyeglasses through our Eye Can See program for adults in need through local free clinics and Moorpark Community College. Celebrated our seventh successful year operating a Thrift Shop, which provides consistent funds to keep our philanthropic programs viable and growing. Target demographics: Assistance League of Conejo Valley envisions its future as a leading volunteer organization, locally recognized for providing support and opportunities to members of our community with a focus on enhancing the educational success of children and young adults.
