Good. The little knob highest up is for how wide or narrow the spray is, the next one down is how far the trigger can be pulled (more trigger pull=more paint coming out) Bottom knob is for increasing or decreasing the amount of air+paint that is blowing through the gun. Low setting for not a lot of air tank use, wide open setting for a lot of air+paint, which runs you out of your air stockpile. I would use a bigger tank and a bigger compressor if I had one, but this works great for the small pancake compressors made for nail guns. Just for smaller jobs
