super strong, fits well in hand, great value when compared to other top 1/2 impact wrenches, watch torque test youtube channel to see just how well it performs.

It arrived with a broken screw on the back of the body. It is a little big and cumbersome however, it is my go too when I need a very strong 1/2 inch impact. Far lower price than a SnapOn and in my opinion better for what I need it to do.

Got this as a Gift from my Brother. Man! What a powerful tool! This impact Gun has outperformed any other 1/2 impact gun that I have ever used. I'm talking about Snap-On, Matco, Cornwell, you name it... this imapct wrench will go toe to toe with the best of them. The internals are of a 3/4 impact gun/wrench so that means that you are already going to get a higher amount of torque When compared to your conventional Air impact Gun. Make sure that you are using at least a 3/8 air hose with 3/8 fittings so that you have enough air flowing through the tool. If it is starved of air it will not perform its best. Learn to use it and will perform amazingly!!

If you're new to the industry and need a half inch impact gun, this is the one to have. This thing smoked every half inch impact in the shop from Mac to Snap On. I work at a speed shop where we also do some day to day maintenance and I couldn't be happier with the performance of this thing. The only thing I would change about this is that the two stage trigger feels a bit funky and requires some break in.

As long as you have the air pressure and volume it wants and it does want ALOT there hasnt been anything so far it hasnt zipped off with ease. When zipping lug nuts back on i usually just hit the trigger till they make contact then come back and torque them. Well just zipping them on was well over 140 ft/lbs be careful if you let it hammer on anything itll break it easily.

I had a frozen O2 sensor on a 1998 Lexus ES300. The rear one buried between the engine and the firewall. It would not come out even with heat , breaker bars, and two different impact guns. I needed the Thor and a bunch of heat to get it out. Destroyed the threads but it came out.

No joking around this thing will get the job done. Im a diesel mechanic in the rust belt, let me tell you, shes the one. I can knock off 33mm Lugs torqued to 500 Ft Lbs faster than my one inch D handle. To prove a point to the boys at the shop i took 3, twelve inch extensions, and a swivel socket on the end and zipped off the lugs of a tahoe with ease. Snap on and Matco should be running scarred with this many beans at this little moneys.

Has awesome power. It has held up in a heavy duty work environment so far and has been put through the paces. More powerful then Tool truck guns in comparison exspecially with ba bigger air fitting on it and high psi.

Saw Eric O. on the South Main Auto Channel using a pre-release version of this tool. His experience was awesome. I bought a production version of this impact drill. My experience was awesome, too! This tool is a beast... and in a GOOD way!

Pretty much like everyone else, I saw this on SMA first, then the TTC second..if your in with both, you know you “done good” as my hick co-worker likes to say. It's easily the most well balanced, and powerful 1/2” impact on the market..and like a hit off a crack pipe, the high you get as you power through bolts etc. that other impacts simply can't break free is other worldly. So load up that pipe and get ready to fill it with many successful Ugga duggas.

Great gun, power for days. The hammer mass is very evident when impacting, really rattles things. The trigger is not quite as delicate as my 2235, even after breaking in, but is still adequate. Very happy with my purchase, would be a solid gun at twice the price. Quite the bargain.

Beats any gun of my coworkers guns that where purchased of the tool trucks at a fraction of the cost . It's a little heavy but I can live with that

Very good impact for price, my snap on gun was having a hard time with the hub tamer, this beast pulls rusty wheel bearings right out. I'd buy 2 of these before I buy a tool truck gun. Only con is this thing is an air hog.

I've been using this impact almost a month. I'm running it on 150 psi 1/4 air nipple. I've read the reviews and watched the testing channels and decided to go with it. Its strong but nothing to write home about. I've been using a CP for 20 plus years. yes its stronger but not 2 or 3 times stronger. I don't like the square body because it does not get close enough in tight situations. I use it mainly for breaking loose tougher bolts like Detroit head bolts and tightening fly bolts. I got mine for 149.00 which is a bargain. Did Astro send out pre production models for reviews and testing then scale back the production models? I yet to see the performance i was sold on. It may break 1/2 bolts but it wont break 5/8 bolts no matter how much you hammer on it. I think it tightens about 400 ft lbs. Break torque about 450 ft lbs possibly 500 ft lbs. NO WHERE NEAR 800-900 ft lbs that is complete lie.
