Mission: Attention Inc. (also known as Attention Homes) was founded in Boulder, Colorado in 1966 as an alternative to detention for troubled youth, in order to allow for "Attention" to the underlying causes of individual youth problems. The goal of Attention Homes residential programs is to provide a highly structured, staff supervised, living environment for runaway, homeless, abused, neglected, delinquent, or otherwise troubled (at-risk) adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18.Attention Homes provides goal oriented programming and educational services in a community, rather than institutional setting. These services enable youth to return to a more functional, productive and safe living situation within the community. Attention Homes has expanded its scope to include outreach services to at-risk youth and families in crisis.

Programs: Our rhy program provides street outreach, day drop-in and overnight emergency shelter services to homeless teens under the age of 20.The goal of this program is to reduce youth homelessness through building trust and establishing relationships with them and increasing access to services that move teens from living on the streets or in the shelter towards stable, long-term housing and/or family reunification.

our res program operates three tracts: respite/extended care, sober living and transitional living. The goal of this program is to provide abused, neglected, delinquent, troubled and/or recovering teens with remporary residential care and treatment services to help them transition through their crisis and to a long-term and safe placement or emancipation.
