I wear these at work and they really block out background noise. Excellent sound quality

Great headphones! Everything is very balanced. A little low on the bass as compared to what I'm used to, and somewhat quieter than other high end headphones. Good headphones for the price if they're your first purchase of quality headphones, but if you want more bass or are used to a much higher quality sound and can afford it, i'd go with the M50s over this. Edit: Changing this to a 2/5 star. Right ear peace has a rattle when low bass notes are played suddenly after a few days of moderate use.

First I have used many types of headphones over the years.These have been 20 to 200 dollars in price.I must say upon first listen these have incredible detail and the bass is very accurate.I mainly bought these to use at home for ps4 pro gaming and movie listening.I am breaking them in now and I just am speechless at the quality. In all the headphones I've used these have to be one of the best if not the best I've used.They are incredibly light and very comfy.I have a big skull and they are a smidge tight but should loosen up with use. If your in the market for headphones keep these on your short list.I am now thinking of purchasing a pair of 40X's for the removable cord.I highly recommend these 30X's if you want clear,clean sound with accurate bass response.

These headphones are monitoring headphones. As they do concentrate more on your voice and less about the music! Don't get me wrong they sound great when I play Aldo Nova Fantasy great song for base. Sounds amazing in these headphones. I got these for my podcasting as I wanted to get the best possible sound for my voice on my podcasts. These are beginner type of Audio Technica monitoring headphones as there are better ones out there, but for the price it was perfect!

Cable broke after about a year of use

These Headies are awesome. this coming from a Grado man. I needed a pair of over-ear headies for working the Soundboard at Church. Truly spent 8 months researching. In that time I learned a lot...for instance, don't waste your money on Beats (tm). At half the price; Audio Technica far and away a better headphone. That is unless you like the feeling of your eardrums under intence Bass compression then waste $400. You want a solid music listening experience or hi-quality O.E. soundboard headphone for under $100, or you want to spend $400....at least buy quality equipment. The construction is pretty solid. I'd like to see a heavier gauge wire between the 'skull-strap and the earpiece. I was stunned, for the price; These O.E. Phones are nearly a 34;noise cancellation34;. Over the weekend I watched the Live stream of the Masters. My daughter and her friends were killing me with all the silliness...Plugged in the A-T headphones...Man, I could hear the birds chirps, clearly hear the back and forth between the player and caddie, and I bought these for Sound Engineering. Comes with a case...very handy. 6' cable, this is where I feel the lower end phones, you get what you pay for. I'm a cord maintenance nut. I can not stand twisted cords. the cable on these phones wants to twist in the worst way. 3.5 mini is nice...though it didn't seat well in the headphone jack on my tablet, it still worked fine. though the slightest tug, you'd lose connection, I blame the tablet more than the mini. The 6.3 (1/434;) adapter is threaded. Keep an eye on it...if you remove it from the 3.5 mini. put the 6.3 in the case. Actually, it would be nice if A-T offered an extra and a storage pocket in the case. P.S. I know I'll take shots for Beats 'Bots'. Listen up. Before I bought the A-Ts. I borrow a pair of Beats from a friend. I plugged them into our soundboard. you can NOT use them on a board (Allen Heathe 3300) your eardrums just compress. you'll spend time twisting off the EQ, gain and anything else, which affect the house sound. In turn...he's tried my A-Ts. He did his best to debate it...but, realized the superior sound for an $80 pair of Audio-Technica Headphones... If you want to buy Beats (tm), more power to you. You want a High-Quality listening experience...for 1/4 the price, then check out Audio-Technica. You can spend $400 there too. I cant imagine how good A-T $4 hundy Headies sound

I loved it, but eventually with glasses it hurt my ears a little bit. Other than that, it's amazing.

Worth the money.

I purchased these headphones for watching movies and videos on my laptop. The sound is full and clear. When I watched streamed movies or local movie files, I can hear everything, every nuance -- particularly sounds I remember hearing in the movie theatre which cannot be heard with regular headphones. For me, that says a lot about the quality. I originally purchased them because I wanted 34;noise-canceling headphones.34; Sorry to say, they only muffle external noise. They do not 34;cancel34; it. I have researched what true 34;noise canceling34; means, and this is not it. Still, they have come very close. There is one caveat to these headphones. They only last from three (3) to four (4) years. I use these every day, and I'm very careful with them. However, just expect that one day three or four years later, while watching a video, suddenly one or both sides of the headphone will just stop working. I have purchased four sets of these headphones over the years. I keep buying them because they work so well. I would like to give these headphones five (5) stars, but I have rated them at four (4) because they are expensive and yet they only last three to four years.

These headphones are really great for a fair price. Best pair of over-ear headphones I've ever owned - in terms of sound quality. I use them for gaming mostly and they work out just fine, giving me plenty of ways to hear everything that is going on. They also work well for shows or YouTube videos, as you'd expect. Overall, sound is 5/5 stars. However, I can only give this product a 4/5 star rating because the ear cuffs are so uncomfortable if you wear them for a long period of time. The leather they used, at least with the pair that I received, is hard and unforgiving. My ears are often sore after only a few hours of having them on. I find myself taking them off often just to give my ears a break. I plan on buying replacement, velvet ear cuffs as soon as I can but that's another $35. (Which would bring the total price paid for these about $100) Still looking around for cheaper prices though.

For the money, they are simply the best you will ever own.

Great product!!!

I use these headphones for mixing music in Logic Pro X as well as listening to music for enjoyment. The response is great for mixing, you get a true and accurate representation of all frequencies. Very comfortable and lightweight. I've used dozens of different brands and models of headphones for mixing, and these are my favorites.

Great quality, balanced sound, lightweight and comfortable. The only downside is how long the cord is, but that can be managed. Working great for watching movies and music on iPad and iPhone.

the headphones don't last, at first they were great. but they just died after 3 months of using them...

Wanted to finally get out of the Beats and SkullCandy days of my teen years, so I bought these as my everyday headphones (I listen to music/youtube at work 5 days a week). Had them for about 6 months and they show no sign of any wear and sound fantastic. Definitely would recommend!
