The only advantage is that the sound is goos. The disadvantages: 1. The earpads are small and hearting the ears 2. The cable is so long and clumsy If you want to buy earphones for listen to music, this is not a good choice for buying them.

The bass is really low and these headphones are uncomfortable. Follow my advice do not buy these headphones, and do not believe the persons that gave them five stars.

Great headphones! Everything is very balanced. A little low on the bass as compared to what I'm used to, and somewhat quieter than other high end headphones. Good headphones for the price if they're your first purchase of quality headphones, but if you want more bass or are used to a much higher quality sound and can afford it, i'd go with the M50s over this. Edit: Changing this to a 2/5 star. Right ear peace has a rattle when low bass notes are played suddenly after a few days of moderate use.

Cable broke after about a year of use

I love the hell out these things... Superb sound over many other high-end headphones Ive had such as Sennheiser, Bose, Sony, etc. Everything was pretty and melodies were being delivered to my ears with celestial sharpness and mighty bass until the right speaker died along with its warranty coverage period of 2 years! Now I'm left in despair and awful sorrow reminiscing on the great days of musical joy and happiness these m30x's gave me for over 2 exact years... Not a minute more...
