T-shirts like this are so basic that they are hard to mess up. Unlike a crew neck shirt a v-neck has collar has a seam at the base of the collar, on the chest. And all collars should have flat stitched seems connecting them to the body of the shirt... that's just such a simply thing to do.This shirt is shaped alright, and equally proportioned, but the collar has two connecting seams: one on the shoulder and then again at the base of the V, on the chest. It has THREE pieces? It's also stitched to the shirt extremely poorly. For less money you can get much higher quality v-neck shirts from Ross or TJs or a similar store. I'd only recommend these shirts if somebody just has to have team colors for a one off event. I got mine for such a single use occasion, but was hoping to actually wear it on occasion for years like I do for most of the basic $6-12 v-neck shirts I buy.I'm still debating whether or not to modify the collar in order to improve it, or to just use it as a painting/yard work shirt.
