For my 12 year old son bout 5'4 and he's slim/ muscular they fit him awesome he love them I just buy my boys all their own sports equipment cause these schools these days are too lazy to get funds or fundraise for these kids to provide them the necessities they need bit its a great buy

These are exactly what we needed for my son to start tackle football. I bought two pair and they are well made and have not shown any sign of coming apart after a few washings. My son wears a size 10 in shorts and these size Large fit great; we pull the belt all the way tight and they aren't skin tight nor baggy - easy to get on and off. I shopped for a while before buying these and these were the best priced good quality pants I've found.

Material is very starchy, and scratchy. Seems to have no stretch to the material. Knee pads are flat vs. having a contour shape, which made it a bit uncomfortable for my son.

If I could give these pants a "NO star" rating I would - these pants are junk. Practice pants, yeah I get it, but does that mean it has to be made like junk??? Unbelievably disappointed. The Under Armour brand is lightyears better and supremely made. Well worth the extra $15.00 while the Augusta pants are WAY too long in the crotch or overall length WAY too long. For example: the material is rough to the touch, the thigh pads are weak (I can push in & out on them like they're thick cardboard), the knee pads are paper thin and HUGE.<br /><br />Bottom line: spend the extra cash and get the better pants.
