Amazing. Its like being able to look into the digital track and seeing every single vibration down past 20hz. I tried it on my desk chair and it was way more power than needed. It was the perfect amount for the couch.

Yeah...so this is one of the greatest inventions of all time. I mounted it to my couch and it just brings a whole different dimension (literally) to my movie viewing experience. It's everything I had hoped for and then some. If I had any criticism, it's that this thing is almost too good at times. I'll be watching a video on some random thing, but the audio will be just low enough in the register to make the couch twitch. But honestly, that's really me searching for something negative to say. I love watching movies with this thing.

This product was impressive and really put some rumble out, unfortunately the unit I received as defective and it sounded like a rattling tin can. I sent it back and got a refund pretty quick, I am thinking about trying another. UPDATE: I went ahead and bought another one and it sounded great. So I bought even another one. If your looking for extreme rumbling power than look elsewhere but if you are looking for a low price and modest output than you should go this route. I love mine, I use them 2-3 times a week for a movie or movie series and for the last 5 months theyve worked great. Great to pair with a subwoofer.

It is a good unit, though I wish it went to a lower frequency.

I'm giving 2 of these 250watts and they kick my racing rig hard if I choose to crank them up. Be forewarned once you have these you won't want to go without :)

Wow, this thing is AMAZING. I mounted it to the bottom of my desk chair and man, it sure does shake the chair. It adds a new level to your music or gaming experience. I played Forza 6: Apex with this and it adds a really cool feel to the game. I am definitely a tactile transducer believer now!

I bought these back in 2007. I have 8 leather recliners set up in my home theater room and installed 1 of these in each on the recliners. Then paired them up with a $20 receiver off craigslist. I hooked the craiglist receiver to my main receiver and now every time the subwoofer is triggered, all the seats in my movie room shake. 10 years ago these things cost $28 a piece and its not only the cheapest aspect of my setup, but also my favorite. The lobby scene of the Matrix and the D-Day scene of Private Ryan are my two demo clips for people that sit in them for the first time. I love these so much that I drastically reduced the amount of times I went to the movie theater as watching movies at home is better. Not sure if this is a true story, but I remember reading that when these first came out they were designed for sports cars that couldn't fit subwoofers. So these would give that same feel. They never really sold, and someone tried using them for home theater and the price of them increased quite a bit over the years. Even at its current price they are well worth the cost and all 8 of mine are still working after 10 years.

I review things after I've had the product for some time. I encourage others to do the same. I believe It's more fair to the buyer. My initial thoughts were these were going to be to intense (to efficient perhaps?) and not functional for my needs. I purchased three units for my home theater system. One had a manufacturing defect but they got it promptly replaced. I wanted them to be an extension to my system, not a distraction. You know an amp that is over rated and under driven is the best approach for getting good and reliable sound out of a speaker. However, these are not speakers. And I needed to make myself believe they would handle and feel like they are. Not a distraction but a sense that it's my sub-woofer that is doing the shaking. This is no easy task for making it an extension of my sub woofer. My sub is quite adequate in producing the low notes, but I have a harder time with feeling the results in a large room. So I either shake my neighbors out of their house with my sub or try these little transducers in my seats. I had a hard time tuning them, but after using some sub filters and a very low volume, they have created that extension to my sub feel that I was looking for. During light music they are not producing anything, they would be a complete distraction. But when I want to listen to techno or an action movie, they come to life and are set at a subtle level I can handle. If you are wishing to do the same, then you might need an external source to filter the unwanted frequencies and tune the output to the right levels for your system. If you just want them to be a butt kicker for a cheap car stereo (and for a cheap massage) (smiles) you can get that too without the attention to correct tuning if you like it that intense.

Ok, for all the people calling these subwoofers....you're wrong. They are not subwoofers...they are shakers. They simulate bass resonance with vibration rather than sound. These work awesome, I have a pair I bought elsewhere but they are the exact same product. when installing make sure you mount them to the frame of the couch so that the vibration travels all through the couch or chair. I had to add 2 boards to mine to connect the front and rear couch boards together and it made all the difference in the world.
