Programs: Community connections: information and referral responds to more than 2,500 inquiries for help annually. The website, www. Autismcolorado. Org, newsletter for 2,800 subscribers, action alerts and listserv supports thousands with current information. The give me a break respite program provides hundreds of hours of paid respite services for more than a hundred colorado families. Sensory friendly films and autism pizza night, part of the opening doors program, are business collaborations that provide a welcoming atmosphere for people with autism and their families.

education: the abc's of autism monthly speaker series is complemented with pro-bono attorney support and support group opportunities. Autism answers, a public education program about autism in colorado is presented about 40 times annually.

policy: asc has spearheaded 14 laws generating hundreds of millions in funding and has garnered a superb reputation with policy makers and departments of state as a resource for accurate information about autism and developmental disabilities. Policy work is supported by the public policy committee of 30 people.
