Product Description
To create rolled oats, whole grain groats are first steamed, then rolled flat into flakes. Sometimes referred to as "old-fashioned" oats, rolled oats cook faster than steel-cut oats and are a great source of soluble fiber (beta glucans) along with other phytochemicals such as avenanthramides.
Prepared similarly to rolled oats, quick rolled oats (sometimes called instant oats) are simply cut finer and rolled thinner, resulting in a cooking time of just two to three minutes. They are commonly found in pouches with seasonings and sweeteners for a quick and nutritious breakfast. Quick rolled oats are also used in breads, bars, and granola.
Bring 2 cups water to a boil, add 1 cup rolled oats, add a dash of salt. Allow water to return to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for about 7 to 12 minutes. Will yield about 4 cups cooked oatmeal.

This is my second time ordering these oats. My grandkids love oatmeal, especially with sprinkles! So buying those small containers of oats from the grocery store just wasn't practical anymore. I have also made cookies with them. I've had no issues with these they were sealed and fresh when I received them.
