I enjoy the thicker rolled oats when I have my oatmeal for breakfast. These also work well in some cookie recipes. I like the texture of this grain and the taste. Although I use the whole oat groats and quick oats as well if I had to choose only one of them, I would choose the thick rolled oats to suit all my baking and breakfast needs. They are versatile and easy to prepare.
