Product Description
Small, round and reddish brown. Also known as Feijao, Aduki and Azuki beans. Light, nutty flavor and less "beany" tasting than most legumes, enhancing both savoy and sweet dishes. Prepare as other beans as a casserole or sprout. A favorite as an addition to vegetable soups.

Cover adzuki beans water bring to a boil in a pot with a lid. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, tilting the lid slightly to allow steam to escape, and leave to cook for up to an hour, or until tender. HINT: When sprouting Adzukis follow directions above, but place in a flat container or sprouter, cover with a clean cloth and place a heavy object such as a brick on top. This will produce stout, thick roots.

These are amazing soaked and ground and used to replace some of the flour in gf baking. They are so much more nutritious than processed flours. Excellent in soups too!

I have only tried adzuki beans in the last couple months. Boy, have I been missing a great bean in my younger years!! Had to order a couple 25 pound bags of it for long term storage and every day meals. They came perfectly! just cooked some last night in the Instapot, yum!!
