durable I only had one disk break when cutting and I believe it was because there may have been a deviation from the straight cut and binding of the disk, it jumped out of the cut hole and hit my hand cutting my thumb pretty deeply. All in all these are the best cutting disks I have found.

Bought about 20 of these cut-of wheels to take to Florida after hurricane Ian, in order to cut up various metal structures that got mangled in the storm. Used them to cut up an aluminum carport and a approx. 12'x25' shade house structure with a frame made from steel pipes. Cut through both like a hot knife through butter. Very pleased with their ability to cut through anything pretty quickly. They do wear down fairly quickly, and if the wheel gets pinched it can tear apart - happened to me a couple of times. But overall - quite please. Ended up using just 5-6 wheels, so I still have plenty for other jobs.

I purchased these cut-off wheels for knifemaking after failures and severe blow-ups with other brands. These are much thicker and have more fiberglass backing inside than most other cut-off wheels.They last much longer, stay where I aim them and do not burn my steel before I get it cut through the end. That is important because I want quality first, not speed!EDIT: I feel the need to add additional content. It only took 2 and a partial disks to cut a full sized Railroad Track Rail in half that I will temporarily use as a knife Anvil. Obviously, it will take more to cut the horn out and the bottom but these disks cut very well! Railroad Track Rails are high carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness between 45-50. They cut cleanly and left very little clean-up on the ends.GREAT PRODUCT!

These are a decent light metal cutter. It took 3 to open up a heavy gauge oil tank and I was lpeased with that.

We used these to cut old copper pipe out of our basement, they held up as well as could be expected cutting metal. Great to have the multi pack for when the wheel is spent.

We have a lot of projects around the homestead that requires a metal side cutter. Rusty bolts are at the top of the list, along with cutting cattle fence panels to size. These Dewalt metal cut off wheels work great. To be honest though, I have used Bauer, Warrior and Hercules brands from Harbor Freight and the longevity and cutting potential is basically the same. Black Hawk is possibly the best if you want to pay more. But as a dedicated Dewalt user, it is nice to keep to brand.
