I purchased these cut-off wheels for knifemaking after failures and severe blow-ups with other brands. These are much thicker and have more fiberglass backing inside than most other cut-off wheels.They last much longer, stay where I aim them and do not burn my steel before I get it cut through the end. That is important because I want quality first, not speed!EDIT: I feel the need to add additional content. It only took 2 and a partial disks to cut a full sized Railroad Track Rail in half that I will temporarily use as a knife Anvil. Obviously, it will take more to cut the horn out and the bottom but these disks cut very well! Railroad Track Rails are high carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness between 45-50. They cut cleanly and left very little clean-up on the ends.GREAT PRODUCT!

These are a decent light metal cutter. It took 3 to open up a heavy gauge oil tank and I was lpeased with that.

We used these to cut old copper pipe out of our basement, they held up as well as could be expected cutting metal. Great to have the multi pack for when the wheel is spent.

We have a lot of projects around the homestead that requires a metal side cutter. Rusty bolts are at the top of the list, along with cutting cattle fence panels to size. These Dewalt metal cut off wheels work great. To be honest though, I have used Bauer, Warrior and Hercules brands from Harbor Freight and the longevity and cutting potential is basically the same. Black Hawk is possibly the best if you want to pay more. But as a dedicated Dewalt user, it is nice to keep to brand.

Well my code to my safe changed when the battery went dead. I tried everything and after a month needed to take a different option. I went through a few but they cut through the door like butter. Well have a few left for my next mishap.

I've been using these since 2014 and trying others brands to compare to. The angle grinder is my favorite tool, it's also one of the scariest and coolest tools in the world since one can cut through anything in the world with it. I use Bosch and Makita tools, but I keep coming back to these Dewalt discs for their fair price and decent longevity.

When I wore down an old cutting wheel on a used angle grinder that I acquired, I bought the DeWalt pack of 5 cutting blades, thinking I probably needed 5 of them to finish what I needed to do. Surprisingly, I'm still on the first one after a lot of cutting! I can't even tell it's gotten smaller! I have had no problem with them and I'm glad I bought them.
