I made some holes in the lid of one of my jars for ventilation and I have a small jumping spider living in it. makes a great home with a good amount of room for her to walk around.Its also good for holding my rice.

This was purchased to replace the glass 1 gallon jar that came with our squirrel feeder. It was a preventative measure, as I knew it was only a matter of time before I dropped the glass jar and ended up with a mess to clean up.This fits perfectly into the feeder, and now I don't have to worry about breakage. It is also nice that it comes in a set of two, so I can rotate the jars for cleaning purposes.I am very happy with this purchase. It would also be great for stowing crafting materials, dog treats, or anything else you may use a large mason jar for
