Had some food stored in vacuum sealed mylar packets. The mice ate into most and ruined the food. Most of the ones that the mice didn't penetrate had lost their vacuum seal. I will only store food in these buckets with oxygen absorbers. This works great. The mice can't get in and they hold their seal. Highly recommend these buckets.

The lids are very hard for me to put on, but I used a rubber mallet and the seal was easier to obtain, but you still need to put some force behind the mallet to achieve the closure if you have any kind of disability with your hands or arms.

I love these buckets for storing feed and also for growing food in them. I prefer to grow food in food safe buckets, no risk of chemical residue uptake into my food. As a grow bucket, they lasted one year without cracks. I think if we had not had a drought and extreme temperatures, the buckets would last longer. Around here, Other generic buckets crack too. Our temps in the sun were up to 118 To be fair, these buckets are not intended to be used as grow buckets. I will continue to buy these buckets for growing in. Love them!

I’m so beyond pleased with these 5 gallon storage buckets. They are food grade and very sturdy. They stack well. The lids stay put. I actually have just ordered more. Arrived quickly packed extremely well. There is NO smell to them and I highly recommend them. I store wheat, beans, flours and sugar.

We are having issues sealing the lids. They won't seal. I even chipped one trying to seal it. I'm going to have to order lids to replace these that came with these buckets.

We like these better than the orange Home Depot buckets. They are taller and the top cover of these appear to seal better. I wish they came in smaller quantities.

I waited for the price to drop when I purchased these. A typical 5 gallon bucket that's food grade. I liked it so much I bought a second set. Can't go wrong with this product!
