First time buying these. They had a strong smell in these containers. I have washed them out, then I have put vinegar and baking soda in them to try to get that scent that was in them. So it has been about two weeks that I have been airing these out. So hopefully my flour or rice or whatever I put into them won't have that yucky smell to them.

Bought to store some extra dry foods. The lids seal well. Once you install the lid, you have to remove a seal tab strip to reopen the bucket.

These are very sturdy buckets with sealable lids. They are food grade so they are nice for storing pet food and bird seed and keeping it dry and away from bugs and vermin.

We are having issues sealing the lids. They won't seal. I even chipped one trying to seal it. I'm going to have to order lids to replace these that came with these buckets.

We like these better than the orange Home Depot buckets. They are taller and the top cover of these appear to seal better. I wish they came in smaller quantities.
