This box of six glass jars arrived yesterday, there was no packing material in the box, just feeble cardboard dividers, so one of the jars was shattered - not just broken. I guess the miracle is that they weren't all destroyed, and so I decided to settle for the five good ones rather than do a return and have more broken jars in the replacement box. The jars themselves are quite nice, good for sprouting small amounts.

The sticker inside the jar says made in China, and there are no anchor giving make in the glass... knock off.

Nice canning jars. Also good for storage of rice, beans or pasta when you have partial packages left. Easy to spot in the pantry.

These can be used to for just about anything. Does not have to be just jellies.

I used theses jars to freeze extra soup and lentils I had made. I was able to microwave the soup, right in the container, once it had partially defrosted in the refrigerator. It tasted like the day I made it!
