So.This 5 gallon jug is well designed little square that doesn't tip.The screw cap is well machined and even though the walls , cap, and threads are thick they do not jam.The spout is well located and doesn't slosh . We fill this up for a remote office and lift and pour water into a giant pur filter and it does NOT slosh, spill, spit etc. Even flow from a large mouth that doesn't gulp.Sturdy handle and the notch in the bottom designed for strength makes an easy grab on when you lift and tilt.There is a vent spout on the rear that is sealed. But I have found the large mouth is designed to not gulp or require air spout back pressure....but its there is you want.The cap has a knock out in the center. This can be used to affix a spout like a gas can. Can be knocked out and the male end of a hose screwed in. Great for Emergency use or camping trips.

3 of 4 were recorded without the small vent caps shown in the photo. In response to the 1-star review the seller supplied them promptly so revising to 4 star.The Hedpacks are solid and work well for ferrying water. The design does not allow for a side handle which would be useful when pouring but the bottom has molded contours that can be grabbed.

Works as expected. Airtight lid. Only downside is that it spills easily while pouring.

These have been great for storing filtered rain water as we continue to be deluged with constant storms here in Northern California. The quality is very good with thick plastic. Will be using the water in my vegetable gardens this summer.

This jug has made my used motor oil recycling so much easier. 5 gallons is the maximum any place around here will take. This jug with the vent drilled out empties FAST. I wish I thought of this years ago instead of refilling the 5 qt. jugs the oil came in originally.

I use this to store my distilled water I make. Does the job and feels pretty sturdy for plastic. Wish there was an easier way to pour the water out but other then that, A product!
