Wet garage floor

It has not fully come out of its wrinkles but seems durable. We have not had snow yet but rain and it has stopped the puddles from being all over the garage. I have been able to mop it off. Would have liked it to be more open on the door side to just squeegee it dry but it is not. Also, the squeegee didn't come with a handle (not sure if it says that in the description). Over all, not a bad product.

So far this as a great product, and saves me having to mop up water in the garage when the snow is melting from the undercarriage of the car. I use a wet/dry vacuum to pick up the water, and it work very well. After rolling it out the first time it was pretty wrinkled, so I placed some heavy objects in the corners and edges, then stretched it out and let it set for a day while it got settled in (see photo). Make sure and use the included Velcro adhesion pads in the corners to help keep the mat in place ( I do wish there were about 6 more sets of adhesion pads to use on the edges and ends; so I'm hoping I can purchase some extras). It looked like the corners may be the the only place where accumulated water may want to run over, so as a precaution, I folded the corner ends and wrapped them with duct tape (see photo). I'm thinking at the end of winter when I remove it for storage, I'll fold in in half once and roll it up so the next year it should roll out nicely.

I purchased the TruContain Containment mat in an effort to keep a cleaner floor throughout our Midwest winters. But the moment we took it out of the box and rolled it out, we felt this may be more work than actually doing nothing at all. The Material used has pretty much permanent wrinkles in it from being folded. And even after having laid it on the floor now for 2 months, do not come out. This makes removing the water into a central location somewhat impossible. There instructions also state that In some cases you may need to apply the enclosed self stick-on Velcro pieces because the mat may move. I can assure you that the mat does in fact move, each and every time you drive on it. So I then applied the enclosed stick-on Velcro stripes in the locations suggested, only to find out they do not stay attached to either the floor or the mat material in our heated garage floor. I have made a poor choice when purchasing this product. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Second one of these we have ordered. We have a two car garage and I like having two separate mats, as they are easier to handle than one big one. It keeps the water and mess out of your garage. It's not that easy to clean but it's not that hard either and I suspect most people won't clean it until the end of the season. Then you just take it outside and hose it off, wait for it to dry, and roll it back up for next year.

We have used our first one for 3 or 4 winters now. They keep the salt and melting snow and ice off the garage floor. It came with a squeegee to get some of the wetness off. In the spring we put it outside to hose it off, let it dry, then roll it up till the next winter. We don't stick it down to the floor. We always recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Wasn't sure about how these would do for my needs but they exceed expectations. We also received a free upgrade which was greatly appreciated.

Too early to give a full review but from what I have handled it looks like it will live up to my expectations.

The mats feel very durable and well made. The sides are raised a suitable level so no liquid comes off. Would highly recommend

We didn't use the tape to adhere them down so they do tend to move slightly over time. They work great for snow and rain. Keeps the water from going all over the garage along with mud, dirt, etc! Highly recommend these for anyone!!

This is my second car mat. The other is 2 years old and works fine. I needed a larger mat for a larger suv. I'd give all stars, but they provide Velcro and adhesive to keep the mat stationary. It doesn't really stick. I never tried to use it on the old mat and had no problems - so not a major problem for me

Haven't had it long enough to go through snow. But, we did have a rainstorm and it worked as I expected. I didn't use the corner attachments because I was afraid they would pull up the floor paint. It does have quite a few wrinkles that are impossible to remove, it came folded and the folds are not coming out. Maybe next year it will lie flat. I did as recommended left it in the house for the first 24 hours before trying to place it in my cold garage.

These are new to us and haven't been through a winter yet so it's not something I can rate at this point. So far they appear durable and look like they will be easy to clean.

It's hasn't snowed yet but I'm ready for when it does. When it's time to clean it comes with a squeegee (you have to buy a handle)...

Replaced some other type of garage covers that were shredding after 7 or 8 years. Much easier to install than the old ones which had snap together edging. Can't comment as to the durability since they have only been in for a month. You do need to lift your feet as you step onto the mats so you don't trip. As others have recommended, make sure they are warm before you lay them down and they will flatten easier.

My wife loves this because it keeps the garage floor clean! She wants me to order two more for the other cars at our house!

Its has been 3 years since i have this mat.I love it. Live in Chicago burbs and driving car during rain, snow it is helpful to keep the car garage floors dry and clean.My car garage doesn't freeze during winter , but it is not heated either, therefore the water doesn't dry out as fast.On a heavy snow days i have to use the squeezer to get the water out, or best if i clean stuck snow under the tires.In spring i sweep the mat , most of it is crystalized salt and dirt and wash it with soap and hose it down. Let it dray in the sun. By the way wrinkles disapier in the sun and over the time.I definitely think it stays well on my concrete garage floors, doesn't slide much at all. Three years later it is still in perfect condition. I think it is a great product!

Durable and nice looking. EASY TO LAY OUT. Comes with outside tubing already installed! Best one I've ever bought.
