Bought these to store mixed stain for a guitar. The lids do not seal. I lightly shook it right mix and the stain splashed out everywhere all over the floor and everything. I spent an hour cleaning it up. If your using g for stain beware.

With small volume tin paint cans, easy lid closure can be problematic. This deep seating half pint tin can easily closes and seals well every time.

I purchased these smaller cans to divide a gallon of POR-15 paint I ordered. After filling all 8 of them, after about 20 minutes I came back to find every can leaking from the seams, leaving me an incredibly difficult mess to clean up. Since all 8 cans leaked in an identical way I’m going to say this is a manufacturing defect, and would highly recommend NOT purchasing these to store any liquids

These Are great for one time use. I feel like the lids come off too easy..
