It honestly worked as it is intended to! Not super heavy, and the strap on it makes it easy to just hang in place for later use. I got it as a birthday gift and it was perfect for the use! And a really good gift!

My grill has cast iron grates, so this lifter is perfect for them. It has a course finish, and the handle portion is curved and long enough which all make it easier to hang on to. A great choice! And the price is right too!

This makes it super easy for me to move a hot or greasy grill grate up/down a level or completely out of my Traeger grill. Before it was awkward to pull/lift out and I always got my hands greasy and/or had to use heat-resistant gloves if it was during a cook session. This simple tool was a godsend.
