I do a lot of writing and drawing and love mechanical pencils. My 8 and 5 year old want to use my pencils but end up breaking the lead. I found a Sumo that had .9 mm lead and it worked great. Then I found these and decided to give them a try. I mean two for the price of one sumo, why not? They are awesome! Comfortable to hold for me and still a good size for little hands. Plus the thicker lead means less breaking for my boys and no sharpening in the middle of homework or projects. Win!

I have problems holding a pencil and difficulty pressing hard enough to see the pencil strokes. This pencil is a nice fat easy to hold item and the 9mm lead is sturdy but makes nice dark marks. The package comes with ample replacement leads and erasers. I could not find this in stores at such a great price. Worth every penny!

I use this 0.9 mechanical pencil for notations on my sheet music instead of a 2 pencil... It works great. Notations using a mechanical pencil with smaller diameter leads just don't show up well on stage.. . I keep this mechanical pencil in my pocket, while a 2 pencil has to travel in my gig bag, where the tip can be broken. So whenever the conductor makes a change, like make that mezzo piano at measure 40, the change is made, and it will be played exactly as requested next time.

These are really nice. Nice to hold, the thicker grip area is a little soft, like silicone material. When you advance the lead, it's extended a nice amount and not too long that it's going to break. Each pencil comes with 2 or three extra lead already loaded in the pen plus you get dual vials with refills for both the lead and erasers. So nice I'm ordering another pack to have around.

I have always loved mechanical pencils, and these are so sturdy and smooth to write with. Great that they come with extra leads. Will definitely purchase these again when needed!

Purchased for my son, he gets hand fatigue sometimes, he says this helps I purchased this in both the .9 and ,7.The only thing I don't like about this product is that I haven't found the erasers for sale in an individual pack. Crossing my fingers they come available so I don't have to purchase new mechanical pencils when the time comes that he has used the erasers up.

This pencil has been life changing for my 9 year old who has been in OT since Kindergarten and becomes fatigued quickly while writing. The grip is extremely comfortable and really squishy. He said the design makes it feel kore natural to write and has no pain. I only wish Bic made the same style in pens that came in blue and black ink.

Since I've tried these mechanical pencils, I only use these now. They are especially good if you are heavy-handed when writing. Try them, you'll love them. They are definitely worth the price!
