The purple/green plants are silk and even the frills at the bottom are sharp. The other ones are fully plastic and too harsh for betta fish.

I recently redecorated my family room in that soft sage green thats really popular at the moment, and I was really pleased how the ombre of soft green to white of these plants brings my decor right into the aquarium! They are a different leaf pattern than Ive had before, and Im enjoying the delicate lacy look, in addition to the gorgeous color!

Very nice fake plants..the ball on the bottom makes them a bit wobbly unless you have a lot of rock. The medium size is much bigger than I was expecting. They are as tall as my 10 gal tank. I'm just going to work with them.update: I had to cut the ball off as the plastic things on it were cutting my Betta's fins. melted the plastic stems back together then attached it to a suction cup and they work great now.

While I dislike artificial plants this helps fill in where they are sparce.

Perfect and soft for Betta fish, he loves to rest on top of the leaves they are big enough, but might be way to big if adding to a 5gal tank. I'm only able to put one and in the MIDDLE of my tank. At least the fish loves it though

I purchased the Biorb Pink Group and couldn't be happier! It looks lovely in the tank. It came so well packaged I was shocked. I had to use a screw driver to get it out of the packaging. All the pieces are very high quality and beautifully crafted. Many reviewers talk about the high price tag, but theplastic pieces at Petco and Petsmart run $20-$30 each. I spent over a $100 on Petco accessories a few years back and the paint peeled and they looked cheap. Now the tank looks classy. I'm super happy I made the investment.

Neon green stems are hard plastic and look very artificial even placed in the background they stand out too much. I did like the look of the purple leaves though. They appeared more natural but the greens are way too bright to add to a serious aquascape. I would consider the purple plant if they sold it alone.

I got these to add to our Betta tank since they're silk. The little ball makes it much easier to position over the normal plant bottoms. You don't have to worry about it floating up randomly. The purple one did release a little dye at first but is fine now.
