I only used the green plants so far. I ordered two sets. It was important that they were soft for my betta fish and tetra. The betta loves and sits on the leaves or will find a cozy spot between the leaves. The base is a round ball and it was a little tricky to bury it because my substrate is only about an inch deep and the ball is kinda big. I figured it out and the results are a beautiful tank. I totally failed with real plants. These artificial plants will make aquarium maintenance much easier.

I absolutely love these. I've bought them for 4 different tanks. I've bought the small (red and green) and the medium 2 times (green and purple). First of all, the leaves are actually silky. No torn up fins here! Second, they're a nice size for a betta fish to lay on. I have live plants too, but these are a really nice size for bettas to nap on.They will most likely get some algae on them. I'm on well water, so no chlorine in the tap, so I just rinse them and rub off the algae every so often. If you have chlorine make sure you rinse and clean them in the dirty tank water when you clean the tank. I've heard of people having issues with the pointy plastic stems on the bottom, but I haven't had that issue with any of my bettas. No big deal if you do, just clip them off . Most 'silk' plants are still crappy hard plastic, but not these. Great buy!

Very pretty. I did listen to a lot of other reviews and cut the spikes at the base off. My guy lays on top of and below the leaves and loves to scavenge his blood worms off of them.

I was going to use this with my betta but the plant looks so platic-y. Not like silk in the least. It felt like plastic as well. I was under the impression silk meant soft. This might work for other fish without ornamental fins but I would not recommend for betta.

I wanted this set more than you could imagine! I loved how pretty it looked, and I finally bought it after almost a year of going back and worth trying to decide if it was worth spending that much money on tank decor that might harm my bett fish. After 2 weeks it smelled like mildew, the wood from the centerpiece kept breaking off into my tank, I was so upset. First I bought the 8 gallon biorb that was a return, not brand new with a slightly damaged box like the ad claimed, then the over priced tank decor was complete s. Just save your money, trust me!

Plastic is too rough, worried this will tear my fish's fins. I thought I had purchased the silk ones, but I guess I didn't. Pretty sad as I had done a lot of research before hand.

These two plants where the right height for my 5 gallon Betta tank.I love that they are silk and therefore will not harm my Betta's fins.They are very nice looking.

These are the softest silk plants I have ever bought! Much more betta-safe than most silk aquarium plants; no hard plastic ridges at all and the leaves are very soft and smooth. I think the plastic vein part is silicone. I wish I had only ever ordered this brand for my betta tanks! I plan to replace some of their other plants with these ASAP.

For the price, these plants are the best looking artificial plants I have come across. The base is nice and heavy compared to other brands, and the plants themselves look fairly realistic (for the actual plant colored ones that I have). They move nicely in the water and I like the variations in length they offer. Overall nice artificial aquarium plants.

beautiful, It fit pretty good in my 6 gallon, but it was a little much for the 6 gallon. I had to take one of the back pieces out because it was too much. but it would probably be good in an 8 gallon or even a smaller fixture in a 10 gallon. the pieces seem like good quality and I like the starfish elements.

Safe for betta fins! Nice height for smaller 3 gallon fishtanks, vibrant green and red colour, sinks to bottom and stays, easy to keep clean. For extra caution (my personal suggestion): Wash and soak overnight, rinse, wash and soak a few more hours and rinse again before placing in fish tank.DO NOT USE SMALL VASES OR VANITY TANKS FOR BETTA's PLEASE, IT'S CRUEL! This is a good 3 gallon size tank and I have two of them: MarineLand Contour Glass Aquarium Kit with Rail Light

These are very stiff and do not move at all with water current. It is not a natural looking movement at all. The color is natural looking but the it will barely move even with strong water circulation. I have a 20H tank with a Fluval 207 and also two AquaClear Powerhead 20's at full power and there is a descent amount of water movement but these plants just do not move in the water!

These are by far the nicest of my artificial plants in the tank. Great color and detail. The heavy anchor buries easily in the gravel and stays put.I'll be back for more.
