Spend money wisely. It is outdoor and quality need to be abusive to weather. It last a couple of months outside.... And net is sagging. Save up to buy a professional grade net, that's my recommendation

My son and I use this to play volley soccer and it's perfect! The first net we bought bent due to crappy materials. My son has dove through this net trying to keep a ball up and it bounces right back into shape. Easiest net to assemble and dissemble that we have used. Highly recommend

Exactly what we needed. We played hours of badminton this summer - enough to wear down the lawn at the service line. The net withstood repeated beatings and weather but retained its shape all season! The top of the net is still tight and straight. Packed away now for use again next year. Very easy to set up and take down. Literally just a couple minutes.

This net is all that it says it is. It is lightweight, easy to assemble ,very sturdy and a fair price. We have gotten hours of exercise playing and when we're finished it folds up in seconds for storage. I highly recommend!

we use this for badminton and it is an instant hit with my family.for assembly, my 70 year-old mother assembled this so I think it is super easy.it's light to move around but so far it hasn't been blown down by wind.do consider this if you want some easy family activity in your yard.

I love this set. Set up and take down is very easy. All poles collapse into ring to store. Case works well. No complaints at all. So glad I bought for some spur of the minute backyard badminton games!

It worked ok, but a light wind kept knocking it over. It showed up in a volleyball search, but it definitely doesn't work for that.

It's only 5ft tall so it's way too short for volleyball. Sending it back.

This net is far and away better than any of the "kit" nets you will find at your local big-box sporting goods stores. It seems well-made all around with tight seams and durable fabric.Since it is a net only, you will need to have your own post system. Personally, I used metal electrical conduit for posts ( I think I used 1/2" conduit). I placed the conduit (posts) in two standard metal paint cans and poured concrete in each can to secure the posts. Then, I used screw eyelets from my hardware store to which to secure the net. In order to keep the posts standing upright when I stretch the net, I used string tied to bricks on the outside of the posts. So, when the net is stretched tightly, the bricks pull outward to ensure good net tension.Anyway, back to the net itself -- it comes with all the cords you will need to attach it to your post system. If you want something that will last several years of outdoor use (assuming you don't leave it outdoors 365 days/years), this is a great choice. We bought some of the "kit" badminton sets in the past. The nets and posts that come with those sets barely last one Summer.Get this net and make your own (more durable) posts, and you'll have something that will last years. If you're using it indoors, this net is still great and should last a long time.In summary, it's a very good quality net and I recommend it!

I use this as a gate across my drive way to keep my pug in the yard. Works great and has held up with heavy use and being driven over. Great product.

We play badminton at our house sort of the way we play horseshoes. During weekends in the summer we have people over to our house for burgers and BBQ, and our yard is big enough to play lawn games. The games are not at all serious, no one measures how high the net is, and we sort of make up the rules as we go along.Serious players hide your eyes, but I basically chose the net by purchase price. I wanted to spend about $25. We have had a couple of $10 nets, and they last a couple weeks. There is no way I am going to spend $100 on a net, because while I am sure it would be of much higher quality, frankly I just don't care.Subject to those constraints, this net is perfect. It has held up most of the summer with little or no fraying, and still looks good. I'd estimate we will probably get at least one, and probably two or three more years out of it before the sun, wind, and wear and tear finally take its toll. We don't get much rain in the summer, which probably will help its longevity. As for its suitability as a badminton net, I am not really sure what "professional" quality players demand, and I am sure it would fall short. It is tough to keep it from sagging, as it does seem to want to stretch a little bit. As a result I really don't pull it all that tight, but rather let it droop a couple inches in the middle. No one really cares, and it makes it easier for the kids to hit it over.To mount the net, I dug a pair of 3' deep post holes, and set a length of 2" PVC pipe that comes to just below ground level. My posts are two pressure treated 2x2's with a couple of eye bolts screwed into them. When I want to set up the net, I insert the two 2x2's into the PVC pipe. There are two wooden shims glued into the PVC which keeps the 2x2 from turning, and the whole thing is quite sturdy. When I am done with the net, I put the posts in the garage and cover the PVC with plugs so they don't fill up with water. The pipe is set low enough that the lawnmower glides right over the caps. The end of them that is down in the hole is sealed, otherwise moles would probably fill them up with dirt. Makes a great set of removable poles-total cost about $7.So in summary, I think it is a great net for what I want to do with it...namely play badminton with the neighbors and the kids. More serious players would probably take issue with the quality of the net. And as others have noted, the net you receive doesn't look much like the one in the picture. Mine only had the white tape around the top, the rest of it is black. No doubt it could be higher quality, but in the days of "made in China", sometimes you just have to take what you can get.

We bought this badminton net for our 8 year old daughter's birthday. My husband made poles to go with it. It is a great looking product and we are very happy with it so far.
