these bases are great for uneven surfaces.Our practices are at a schools field. Not heavy to carry .Liked the color as its easy to see in the grassy field. Perfect for little league practices.

Works and looks great. I used them in the after school program where I work on dirt and on grass. They are light weight and easy for kids to carry. They don't slide out from under their feet either.
