Great beginner book to teach your baby some basic signs! Easy to understand hand gestures with illustrations :)

Has all the basic signs and more. My son LOVES to look through the book. Also gives great instructions to teach how to perform each sign. I am learning right along with him!

I bought this book way before my daughter turned one. She's 23 months old now and still likes to look through this book by herself or with me as we do the signs together. I think initially it was like a game and then she realized that I could understand what she was trying to say through her gestures. It helped lessen the frustration when she couldn't find the right words to express her feelings. I didn't teach the sign for 'where' and 'good' though because of its similarities with others and I didn want her to get too confused.

Fantastic for infants and toddlers.

My son's hard of hearing and has a speech delay as a result. His daycare classroom has a hard time learning his signs. To be helpful I bought two copies of this book; one for home and one for daycare. It presents some of his most important signs in an easy to ready and unintimidating manner. My son loves this book and reads and signs with it daily. Update:They love this at daycare. The lead teacher in his classroom remarked that reading it with my son and watching him sign and talk about the pictures left her feeling like she was finally talking his language. My kiddo also reads it with his classmates and they all have fun signing cookie, bath, and dog.
