Mission: Backcountry Hunters & Anglers seeks to ensure North America's outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting, through education and work on behalf of wild public lands and waters. Since the freedom to hunt and fish depends on habitat, efforts are focused on three key issues: Access & Opportunity, Public Lands & Waters, and Fair Chase. Backcountry Hunters & Anglers works to enhance access to pubic land, to conserve habitats and landscapes, and to advocate for ethical hunting standards.
Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 2006, and donations are tax-deductible.
