My only complaint would be that the finger print reader is a tad finicky. It's gotta be lined up perfectly. Other than that it's a solid safe for the price. I was able to fit 2 pistols (.22 .45) with clips in both. It's snug but I was surprised they both fit.

I am very happy with my AWESAFE!Sometimes there issues when purchasing online and what makes the difference is how a company handles these challenges. My safe arrived and I struggled to program the number and finger print settings. I sent an email and had a response shortly asking to see a short video on how I was going through the step to set it up. The reply came back we have another safe on the way please confirm your address. No hassle no question AWESAFE had me covered and it was going to arrive the day I needed it.Quality built, works as advertised my stuff is safe! I've had this safe for a little over a month and the hydraulic arm that's supposed to keep upward pressure on the safe door has failed, meaning that when I unlock it I have to stick something like a screwdriver in the door to pry it open. Otherwise the door just sits there. Not ideal for quick access in a home defense scenario.Update: Awesafe has reached out via email and offered to replace the safe free of charge on the condition of changing to a 5-star review. Will update.

Update: The seller was very responsive to my concerns and rectified the situation. 5 stars for customer service.The safe doesn't close easily and the fingerprint feature failed on me. Luckily it was a false alarm, but the safe was useless because we couldn't get into it. This is very disappointing given the nature of the product and its intended use.

With a 3-year-old granddaughter I wanted something she could no way open. I feel very at ease with this safe. In an emergency the fingerprint lock is great.

This safe is an excellent value.Initial programming of fingerprint and code is very simple with good instructions. Anchor screws are sturdy and provide a very secure mount. My only minor complaint is that the fingerprint reader doesn't always work the first time, sometimes taking 2-3 attempts.As others have said, ignore the review that says any fingerprint will open this safe. That's only true if you fail to follow set-up instructions, clear the factory settings, and then program your own code and fingerprint following the very clear instructions.

only complaint is the finger print reader. Not worth any thing. The button lock works fine. If you want good finger print access this is not worth the money... good ones cost much more. I now just use access buttons for the code.

This is a substantial metal safe. Unlike some other reviewers, I had no trouble setting the code and fingerprint recognition options, and they work flawlessly. Its holding two J frame revolvers with plenty of room to spare. I'm pleased with the purchase.

Not sure what others are have a hard time with. All aspects of the safe work flawlessly. Very simple procedures for fingerprint lock combination set up. It easily holds our 380 or 9. A 45 or bigger will be a tighter fit. Rest assure this will be what you need.
