I read the reviews and saw people complaining about it not keeping your bed dry. I'm thinking those people didn't do a great install. This bed cover has kept my bed 95 dry. Minimal water gets in when there's a heavy rain near the tailgate and sometimes on the edge of the bed. It doesn't really bother me. I keep my generator in my bed sometimes and needed something to keep it dry and this fits the bill. It's also nice to leave things in the bed and not have to worry about security. It's a little pricey, but I'm hoping to keep it for years. If you need something that will 1. keep your bed dry, 2. last longer than a couple of years, this seems like the cheapest option. I think it looks pretty good too.

When I installed it in 2020 I was very happy. 2 years later I was still happy, but then I noticed the heat was getting to it.First, the felt pads on the underside came loose, not really a huge deal but surely not optimalThen I noticed the seal on the front of the bed rail was warping/shrinking. Then it all started to unravel:Right now the top cloth/vinyl has been pulled back from the edge. It's so ugly I get embarrassed driving it around. I'm filing a warranty claim, so here's hoping they've made some design changes!

The cover has suited my needs, but is not worth the money. I have used it for 8 months. It rolls up nicely and latches onto my f150 well. I like how the cover sits flush with the bed. I do not like the straps for when it is rolled up. They seem flimsy and I can see them breaking in the future. They also do not stay tight so the cover moves slightly when it is rolled up. My biggest complaint about it is the rear plastic caps. One arrived broken and the other broke off after 2 months of use. For spending over $1000 on a cover, this should not happen. I would not buy this again and would choose a more affordable option if I were to buy another roll up cover. I have been in contact with BAK directly and I am waiting on a response or solution to the problem.UPDATE: I contacted BAK directly and they sent two sets of replacement caps for the cover free of charge. They seem to have updated them, but they still feel somewhat flimsy.

I think the attachments for the frame to the truck bed need to be improved. Seems a little insecure. Overall I like the bed cover. Might be a little pricey compared to other bed covers.
