Would be better is it was about an inch and a half longer. There is only about 1/4 inch of over lap split between the front and the tailgate. With the shape of the tailgate plastic top. Will work for my purposes, but will leak down inside of tailgate if it rains.

Went on 2 week road trip in my new maverick. We were afraid of thieve stealing our stuff from the truck bed. So I hurried and purchased this product. Cheaper than buying from Ford first of all.Second of all, I've never own a truck before so I had no idea what the hell I was doing, but it was easy enough for me to figure this out and install within 45 mins.The one thing was, there were rain, and the water did still drip into the truck bed. But it was because the original drain plug that comes with this doesn't stay on. I contacted the customer service and they sent me the older version of the drain plug which fits like a charm. But unfortunately it arrived after I already came back from the road trip. So I'm not sure if the water will still come through with the new drain plug. Will update once I finally wash my car and see.
