Bought this product to replace old existing 3 button balboa spa unit. Little height adjustment to line up w pump inlet 90deg but all in all 5 out of 5. Single pump so had to plug into plug 1 slot. Fired up and brought water temp to 98 from 55 over night. Excellent product

I want to make this real quick but this is a perfect replacement if you have an oddball part number that you're searching all over eBay to find used parts for The simple easily replacement plug and play and all you have to do is modify your control panel or new one for that matter to fit where the old one was really easy basic but works and well worth the money compared to anything else

Easy pack exchange. Topside was easily mounted. It came with an adapter plate for it but I didn't use it. Installed it, started it and one year later still enjoying it. My tub had a 15 yr old Balboa pack from the factory. I recommend this set but don't buy them all. I might want another one.

This unit was easy to install and a direct replacement for old unit. Even the mounting screws all lined up.If it had not been a direct replacement fit, unit came with glue couplers which would have been an easy refit.

Although I did not video this installation, it went perfectly. This Balboa 54216-Z Spa Control System VS500 system was a perfect fit for our old Avalon Spa. Fairly pricey, but well worth the expense in a solid replacement system from top to bottom, pardon the pun !! The top side control panel is both visually appealing and operationally on point. The full bottom side system was easy to configure and connect. Very thankful these Balboa retrofit systems are available.

I tried ordering the same unit from the manufacturer and they actually want it twice the price. This is why you must lock always for better pricing. The system install easily and is working properly.

This Spa controller was perfect for what I needed. The Gecko control board on my early 2000s era hot tub died and this thing was a perfect replacement. It comes configured for 120VAC but shifting it to 240VAC was a simple process. The new keypad looks sharp and the whole setup runs my tub with no issues!

It was very straight forward to replace my old control system with this unit. I was concerned about my 240v hookup but it was very simple to change the default 120v to 240 with instructions right on top of the box.
