I have canned for decades , the jar's will be fine, if I find any defects I will let you know. What I am not happy with is the jars I received from Walmart, the box was not taped appropriately and literally fell apart while trying to get it into our house

Ball is a brand name I know I can depend on. I made the mistake of buying cheap knock-offs and had disastrous results, in particular, they clouded up! Ball brand jars have never clouded up when I use them and I learned a lesson. For me,. It's got to be Ball.
