The texture of whole wheat pasta is completely different now than it was 10 years ago. If that's the last time you tried whole wheat pasta, give it another go. Not only is this not gritty, But it keeps you fuller longer, has a satisfying bite, and a really pleasant nutty taste that pairs really well with whatever you eat it with. This is honestly my favorite with Pesto.
