A little expensive for what you get. But very useful.You have to watch it very closely.Putting it on only moderately tight so as to allow air to escape while filling.Once taken off it falls into 4 pieces that can be easily lost.I'm thinking about gluing the top and bottom clear plastic pieces together.I store mine in a large prescription bottle to protect it.

Somehow lost the original one that came with the tank so I had to buy a replacement and it fits perfectly!

There should be 2 hose fittings, 1 for the vent and one for the bobber. The bobber becomes 3 pieces when removed, the 3 pieces should be captured to each other AND tethered to the tank. As for the vent, toss the screw-on cap and get a hose-end shutoff valve, much faster, no need to worry about the tether, etc. I bought the tank that will hold my waste with room to spare, so I don't need the bobber. Now, for the 'upgraded' wheels: the fact that the tires are pneumatic is not relevant for such a small wheel. The chinese rubber wont hold air, I slimed all 4 and NONE would hold air. And who wants to carry a compressor or fire it up at a campground? Until recently, they came with solid wheels. I''m giving 5 stars because I called them up with my tire issue, and they sent me a complete set of the 'old style' plastic wheels at no charge!

This product worked well. It's good to know when it's getting close to full, nothing worse than an over filled crap tank!

Helped prevent overfilling but must be removed to vent when tank is emptied, I think it's a little overpriced.

So I'm not going to take away any stars from this thing as I'm not using it on the item it's designed for.The Camco Rhino black water tote doesn't have a gauge, and the water hose fitting that the Bobber Gauge goes on is the only vent. I have a 40 gallon black tank, and got the 21 gallon black water tote because a 40 gallon tote would be impossibly heavy. The 21 is heavy, but I can wrangle it onto my bumper carrier.So dumping a 40 gallon black tank into a 21 gallon tote, you definitely need a gauge! I had read in a review that this Bobber gauge works on the Camco system, so went for it. It does fit, and it does work, but the tank isn't vented so the flow will stop.You can see the Camco tote sort of inflating as the pressure rises, and then the flow stops. I've found that unscrewing the bobber gauge while keeping control of it will vent the air, but the gauge is blown around so you can't vent AND read the gauge. My workaround is to dump some, then vent some, then check the Bobber gauge to see if we're there yet.It's easy to see when the black water reaches the Bobber gauge, then you leave the valves closed and deal with the hose and all that. Repeat as required, in two trips you've emptied 40 gallons of black water. Cool, but not that easy. I don't know of a better solution, so there it is.

Worked as we needed it too. Easy to install and saves us time with wondering if otter is full or not. Worth the cost. Time saving.

As advertised. A lot of money for no more than there is. But if you need it you have to pay the price.
