Mission: To end the experience of homelessness for women and children by providing shelter, housing and supportive services.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Barrett Foundation served 815 people in FY 2022,497 in our shelter and housing programs and 318 with motel/hotel vouchers. Of those, we served 340 children, 231 in our shelter and housing programs and 109 with motel vouchers.

Geographic areas served: Albuquerque, NM

Programs: Barrett Foundation operates Barrett House shelter for single women and women with children experiencing homelessness and not escaping from domestic violence; a respite program that provides a place for women to rest and recover after leaving the hospital; 3 Rapid Rehousing and 4 Permanent Supportive Housing programs that provide rental assistance and intensive case management; and a motel voucher program to help families and individuals end their experience of homelessness.
