I can't speak for every situation but this worked perfectly for me. My Dodge caravan had been overheating, blowing out white smoke and eating up coolant. The coolant wasnt leaking onto the ground and I was pretty sure it was leaking out of a crack somewhere on the engine.I made sure oil wasn't leaking anywhere in the system. This is important. Look online to see how to check for this.I carefully read the instructions, poured it in, let it run for 15 minutes with the hot air on full blast. I then let it sit for a couple hours before turning it on again. After that the white smoke stopped coming out and coolant was staying in the reservoir. It worked for me. Again, it doesn't work for every situation but it cleared up my issue and even the engine light went back out.If you have no other options or the money to repair the engine this might give your car some more time. It's just a patch but it will keep my van running awhile longer.
