I wasn't expecting it to work so well. I struggled with overheating and non-working cooling system for a year and a mechanic suggested I put the sealant in. He did suggest which brand but Bar's Leak seemed like the best one. After running it for 15 minutes it seemed to work properly. It has been working for several weeks now like it should. Amazing stuff!

I can't speak for every situation but this worked perfectly for me. My Dodge caravan had been overheating, blowing out white smoke and eating up coolant. The coolant wasnt leaking onto the ground and I was pretty sure it was leaking out of a crack somewhere on the engine.I made sure oil wasn't leaking anywhere in the system. This is important. Look online to see how to check for this.I carefully read the instructions, poured it in, let it run for 15 minutes with the hot air on full blast. I then let it sit for a couple hours before turning it on again. After that the white smoke stopped coming out and coolant was staying in the reservoir. It worked for me. Again, it doesn't work for every situation but it cleared up my issue and even the engine light went back out.If you have no other options or the money to repair the engine this might give your car some more time. It's just a patch but it will keep my van running awhile longer.

I was skeptical as ive tried similar products in the past. I had a small leak coming external from tge head and this sealed it up. Last about 6 months so far.

I had the radiator, thermostat and new fan installed on my vehicle but something was still off as it would overheat in high temperatures outside. I read reviews about people saying not to put additives in your radiator if it is the head gasket or any other leak but I'm glad I actually used this product! Since I used this my car stopped overheating and it runs so much smoother. Love this product! It saved me hundreds of dollars. It actually worked great for my situation

Easy to use, just pour it in the radiator. It will give up at some point, but it's a good temporary fix.

I was skeptical but this stuff really worked. My Prius doesn't have a radiator cap (Surprise!) so I poured half the bottle into the coolant reservoir. Next problem was you can't really get the Prius to idle for 15 minutes with the engine on, so I just drove it around. A few days letter the check engine light shut itself off.

This 23 years old Suzuki g16b engine passed 270 km or 170 miles and most likely over time the aluminum head suffered from corrosion. The mystical disappearance of the coolant began. No service company was able to determine the true cause .Here's what I did: to add 1 \ 2 Bar's Leaks 1111 (for small engine) directly to the radiator, I poured a similar amount of coolant from the radiator through the drain valve. Then I opened the heater, started the engine and it worked at 900 rpm for about 25 minutes until it warmed up to the temperature of turning on the radiator fan. I turned off the engine and drove the car only the next day. I closely monitored the coolant level every day and it kept disappearing but less and less every day. I compensated everything that disappeared and returned to the previous level so it was easier to control losses.Until eventually the disappearance ended!!!!. Thanks for Bar's Leaks 1111 and I hope this state lasts as long as possible. In a pinch I still have half a bottle left. :-)

It worked as it should for a small leak in my 2004 Mercedes. I noticed the oil was a bit milky colored so I changed the oil and bought a bottle of this. After adding this and following the directions the leak was sealed and I have not had any issues after 2 months is regular driving.

I was losing about a gallon of coolant a day, some of that was making into the crank shaft (not good) . I followed the directions and WOW ! No more loss of coolant! That was 2 months ago and it's going strong.

I haven't been missing any coolant/ antifreeze since I added this about a month ago. I was very skeptical about using it, but I'm glad I did in my 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R...

Blown away, I thought why not! Instead of $2000 in engine repairs on a garbage 3.1 gm engine! This saved me from doing those repairs, for how long I'll get back and let you know. Just try it you'll love it!

I did it on my 05 Dodge Neon and it worked. I drove with a blown head gasket for at least 4 months. I was buying 2 gallons of coolant a month. My coolant never mixed with my oil so I don't know how it would work for those people. But I do want to say u must follow the instructions exactly. I had good looking coolant in my car but still drained it and did a coolant flush just to be safe. Taking extra time and a little cash to do that is worth it compared to something going wrong and being out of a car. Just get some flush cleaner and some water. Run ur car for at least 15 min let it cool then drain it and put fresh coolant in. Leave enough space to put the bar leak in. I put half in my 4 cylinder then topped off with coolant. I personally started the car with the cap off let it run through and topped it off again then put the cap on and let the car idle for 15 min with the heat and fan on high. By 15 min I just reached to operating temperature and cut it off and let it sit till it's cold. I let mine sit for an hour but it was also 40 degrees outside. I topped it off and ran it again at 1200-1500rpm for 15 more min cuz I don't have cruise control. Then I cut it off and let it sit over night. I've been driving around and it's no where as rough as it was and the leak is gone. In a day or 2 if I see there is no leak what so ever I'm going to flush it out just cuz I want to personally. But please follow what it says and don't be lazy about any of the steps. I wanted to give a detailed review cuz I was very nervous about this product and I want everyone who uses it with a realistically fixable head gasket case to have a good experience.
