These days car manufacturer's quality is in the can. What a pun! Who tests for MTBF? No one! If they do it's mostly simulated, or done with algos.Along comes Bar's Leak for Head Gasket fix. A novel way to solve such expensive issues more cheaply.If you have changed the water pump (leaking) 3x on a German car made in Hungary, now in Mexico without success try this!The product bottle can be improved. Make a section of it viewable, so you can see how much of the bottle you have used, like with a Mobil 1 Quart of oil container.Updated October 10, 2022.So far the coolant tank has congealed bar's leak product in it. Hopefully this is not impacting the ability to efficiently cool a hot engine. The thermostat indicator suggests not. I used half a bottle, based on engine size (4 cylinders). Had a tiny leak in the head gasket. Did not do anything for the first try, however stopped the symptoms once repeated. Does not have enough for multiple times on big engines. Might wanna order the big size. Make sure to completely heat up and completely cool down engine and not take it to the interstate for first test drive.

Easy to use, just pour it in the radiator. It will give up at some point, but it's a good temporary fix.

So far I believe the product is doing what it's intended to do, might need to get another bottle soon.

Okay so I got this product from a local Walmart. This stuff works magic I know many mechanics that recommend this specific kind. So one down side tho. I used it on my 2006 Honda Accord 4-banger. So this car was overheated and melted the head gasket. Unfortunately I did not realize this because I just replaced the coils and i drove it till it blew up. According to my iodb2 scanner it blew a hole in all but ones cylinders head gasket. I did not want to pay 1100 dollars or have a full day repair I used this stuff it worked a miracle. Took 15 minutes repaired it almost instantly after the thermostat opened. Sadly the sealant got in the oil and messed with some vtec sensors. Still don't have a head gasket problem. I gave this a good review because it works miracles for a head gasket just don't let it get in oil!!!
