These pencils are great at home or in the classroom. The pen\'s wishbone shaped body naturally shapes the fingers into the school-taught \"tripod\" finger grasp. The soft rubber body and curvy shape are built for it and helps kids focus on their content without worrying about their pencil grip or their writing speed. This means that they\'ll get just as excited about learning to write as they will about drawing pictures. The thick 2mm pencil lead never needs sharpening. Just twist the tip to expose more lead. They are perfect for getting my 8 yo who refuses to write. He's being assessed for OT and possibly being ASD. Have seen them used by others and figured I'd give them a try for him.

I got these for my autistic grandson. He writes so much better with these than a normal pencil and because they are different he loves to do his school work with them.

My daughter's physical therapist recommended these when my daughter had a wrist injury. The way they are held makes it a lot easier to write without moving the wrist too much, so they were great for her finishing the semester at school. The only bad thing is that they're very hard to reload with lead.Other than that, they're very good for people who need to give their wrists a break due to injury or surgery.
