Mission: Bay Street Theater is a not-for-profit 299-seat professional regional theater situated on the Long Wharf, in Sag Harbor, NY, and was founded in 1991. Founded by Sybil Christopher, Emma Walton Hamilton and Stephen Hamilton. Bay Street Theater & the Sag Harbor Center For The Arts is a year-round, not-for-profit professional theater and community cultural center which endeavors to innovate, educate, and entertain a diverse community through the practice of the performing arts. We serve as a social and cultural gathering place, an educational resource, and a home for a community of artists.

Bay Street Theatre is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1992, and donations are tax-deductible.
