Mission: ​​Our mission is to carry on Claire's legacy by cultivating the power of collective generosity so that all may live a safe and healthy life.

Results: $40,000 grants awarded in 2021 first grant cycle. The funds will support projects that are working to respond to child abuse, provide healthy foods to women fighting addiction, support breastfeeding in low-income and marginalized communities, prevent gender-based violence and improve birth outcomes for BIWOC mothers and their babies.

While grants applications are accepted from any location, we give preference to projects whose purpose have a personal connection to Claire or serve communities in which Claire lived. Those communities include: Lawrence, Kansas. Terre Haute, Indiana. Plymouth, Indiana. Culver, Indiana. Bloomington, Indiana. Louisville, Kentucky. Chicago/Lake Forest, Illinois.

Programs: The goal of the #BeMoreLikeClaire grant is to support projects that carry on Claire’s legacy by cultivating the power of collective generosity so that all may live a safe and healthy life, while abiding by our Guiding Principles. #BeMoreLikeClaire Guiding Principles: All people should have access to healthy food. ​ All people should have access to holistic and comprehensive health care. All people should have access to housing that is safe and affordable. Positive caring role models and mentors transform lives. All relationships should be free from cruelty and built on trust and respect. ​ The earth and its resources should be protected and respected.
