Mission: HISTORYBCF is a humanitarian non-profit organization founded in 1998 by Monique and James Beauchamp Monique is Nicaraguan and James is from the USA. Monique came to the United States in the late 1970’s due to the onset of civil war in Nicaragua. The foundation began with just family, friends and colleagues organizing events to raise funds to help gather supplies to send to Nicaragua to needy families during natural disasters such as Hurricane Mitch in 1998.Since 2010, Monique started running the foundation with her 3 kids, Victor, Valentina and Venetia, until present. The foundation also started working in South Florida, where the main offices are located, doing fundraising for several projects in Nicaragua and projects in Miami. In 2015, the foundation started a new project, ASAP (act, support, alcohol prevention) for youth, standing together. ASAP mission is to create a clear community consensus that under age drinking is illegal, unhealthy and unacceptable.

Results: We have built homes, established a food program, provided medical care, and help the school with supplies and tutors for the children (in needy communities in Nicaragua) With our project ASAP for youth, we are educating the parents, kids and teens on the prevention of underage drinking. (Nicaragua and USA) HELPING THE COMMUNITIES, one deed at a time.

Target demographics: Communities in Need

Direct beneficiaries per year: 7 families with the Housing project, 300+ kids at Local Schools in low income communities, 300+ parents with our ALCOHOL PREVENTION EDUCATION (symposiums, workshops & talks)

Programs: Housing Projects for needy families, Educational Projects such as our major BCF project ASAP FOR YOUTH, educating the parents, kids and teens on the prevention of alcohol & drug. Sponsorship program in Nicaragua for needy kids.
