I Installed it tonight and it works great so far. Hopefully it will keep on going for the rest of my life. . (I am 81 now). IF you don't hear from me, it is still working, OR this old body is not and I am gone.I just about didn't make age 70, so feels good to do something again; and it is working as should. Now, what should I tackle???

More than likely you will need to cut off the spade connectors and use wire nuts to make the connections.

I would replace the old big square one for one of these if you don't have one on your oil furnace Big improvement on start up And get the (( BECKETT Z2000U GAUGE KIT )) there is a video on how to use it worth doing that to stops the boom on start up

People had me worried via reviews that this would be hard to install and I have to worry about getting the wires correct. It's so flipping easy, a cave man can do it. There's only 2 wires, all you need to know is Blue-white goes with orange. It started right up! My old transformer was a big fat 2721-628G and it literally had no spark so I had no heat for a couple days waiting for this part but it was worth it because it was installed in 20 minutes. Easy. I consider this solid state device an upgrade as I often recommend solid state drives for all the people out there with computers.

This igniter was a perfect replacement and solved my furnace problems. Would have cost me hundreds of dollars to have local heat and air company to fix.

When your furnace does not start or POPS during a hot start this could be what you need. Test the output terminals resistance with the power off. It should be around 2000 ohms. If it is less than 1800 ohms is should be replaced. Mine was at 1200 ohms when it failed.
