Listen if you need to disbud a small animal, this is the one to buy. Gets hot pretty quick, long enough cord to not 100 need an extension depending on how your barn/shop is set up. Can't beat the price!

I used this one with the 1/2 tip to disbud my Boer goats and my clients Nubian and mini Nubian kids and a pygmy kid. It worked fine for the pygmy kids but was a little big. I am going to buy the 1/4 tip disbudder for pygmies.

This tool is great for miniature and mini goats, if you disbud them within the first month. If you wait longer than this, the tip of the heat gun will not slide to the base of the horn bud. This is definitely not for standard goat disbudding.It does however, work well and gets hit enough to sear the horn growth nerves. Leaves a nice golden ring. The side of the tip can be used to sear the horn.

Worked very well, used on a couple calves seems like it did the job very well left smaller marks than the other more expensive ones on the market but looks like it did pretty good, we will see in a few months if I feel that it still did a good job.

I've used this type of disbuding iron for over 28 years. It's better than any others I've tried. Used this one 2 weeks ago on 12 Nigerian Dwarf baby goats just over a week old. My favorit age is between one day old to two weeks.
