Tried other waters with cups testing them out so we could take a vacation and know our birds would have water, those were a disaster the birds Would bump the cups and drain the buckets. If you want to be sure your birds will always have water use this one!! Also stays dark so No algae grows inside. Best waterer out there

One of the reasons to have purchased this item was the volume. It holds 8 gallons when filled and it lasts 8 hens for over a week so we can take trips and have a neighbor refill weekly. Highly recommend over any other sized water that I have seen on the net in a local feed store.

Very cheaply made. Kept it because I was leaving out of town I was in a bind just used it once. It's trash. The plug didn't work to keep water in while filling so I had to do it with my hand. Handle care off when I pulled it out of the box. No water was in it yet. Don't buy!!!! Buyer be ware!!!

Poultry watering can, never saw such cheap galvanized water vessel. 1st one rused so badly so fast called manufacturer will not return phone call never answers phone. Second one arrived box bent inside once opened never could stop water leak. Rubber stopper inside never seals had to reach in water hold it against wall while filling. Very disappointed in quality. Bought replacements locally and in plastic since galvanized cans now rust so fast garbage galvanizing
