I live over a mile high, here on the front range of Colorado. My yard doesn't have much soil, as the back yard is on a cliff of sorts, with lots of boulders and rocks. It's dry here, with very low humidity. This is my second year of container gardening, and I have been through a lot of various styles and sizes of drip pans. As much as I don't like the price tag for one of these, it is my favorite because 1) I like the color! 2) it's deep, so it will hold the water in for a day or two before it all dries up. 3) I can just put water in the pan, and avoid getting my tomato leaves wet, and use less water if I was watering the entire deck--when I only needed to revive my thirsty plants. You may think I would have a mosquito problem with the excess water, but it evaporates so quickly where I live that it's not a problem. I use a lot of felt' type of pots too, that dry out quickly and these are perfect for bottom watering--watering only what need. Not having the sprinkler on for hours at a time. Love these pans! You can see in the photos some of my trial and error pans that are all dried out, when I watered them all yesterday. In this 90 heat, my tomatoes should never be dying of thirst after a day of watering with a traditional sprinkler.

This pan is as ordered but I was hoping for the flexible feed pans.

I need an alternative bird bath for a solar fountain. This worked perfectly! The birds can sit on the rim and drink water.

Im using it with with a small solar fountain. I made a little frog pond. It has a wooden walkway up to it for my small ceramic frogs. Grandkids love it. Im adding a solar color changing ball to the pond and solar strip lights to the small pathway.So many uses for it. Very sturdy.

His was recommended for use with the flower pot cat box. Fits perfectly and has enough room for our big 16 pounder to use easily.

I've bought 4 of these now, as we use them for a duck waterer and chicken feeder. We feed our chicken fermented feed and this works perfect for it. The one complaint I have is that they stick the label on the inside of the tray, removing it is difficult. Would be much nicer if the label was on the outside of the tray.

This is the third one we have for water for our ducks. Living in Arizona, these things are exposed to a lot of sunshine and heat and year and year they continue to hold up. Easy to clean, sturdy, and worth the money.My only complaint is the sticker on the inside - it's not easy to remove without chemicals or a razor blade.

I used these to plant some large sized water lotus tubers, which I then submurged into my pond. The tubers seem happy, and no fish have died from anything the pots are made of and might have leached into the water. They also held up well to being lifted while full of mud, plants, and water.

Fit inside the faux tree cat litter box well

I use this for feeding treats to my chickens and it works really well. I have two of them I set in two areas of the run and they move back and forth with no fighting. It's practically indestructible.

I was looking for a splash pool for dogs under 5lbs and this is it! Perfect size and sturdy!
